Debutots

Debutots weekly after-school clubs are excellent for igniting children's imaginations, building confidence and creativity and most of all, great fun! Sessions include fun drama-up games to warm up our voices and bodies, work on concentration and focus.

Every week an original Debutots story is told and we then jump into the story and go on a dramatic adventure using our voices, bodies and imaginations where everyone gets a chance to respond creatively! As confidence grows, we use effective drama techniques to challenge thinking and develop creative story-building skills.

We end the sessions with special Mindfulness exercises which teach children how to slow their busy minds and bodies and come to a place of calm.

Example stories include : Traditional World Stories such as King Midas, Anansi the Spider and The Four Dragons; Colour Crazy world stories, meeting Princess Clementine on her colour quest, Rita The Rainbow Ranger and Splat the plain old grey cat who learns to believe in himself; Animal Adventure stories, creatively exploring the animal kingdom. Get ready to shout “Abracazam” with the Wizardy Pigs, go on a jungle jaunt with Toki the Zebra and travel through space with us to find the perfect pet for an alien
