Applecroft School Uniform

Dress Code:

Applecroft School has a school uniform that we are very proud of. All children who attend the school, from Reception to Year 6, are required to wear it.  School uniform is optional in Nursery although due to their very creative curriculum we do recommend that children come dressed in the school polo shirt/jumper or cardigan as this will save the children from getting their own clothes covered in paint, glitter, mud or other wonderful media!

School Uniform:

Red jumper* or cardigan*

Grey or mid-grey trousers, skirts, shorts or pinafore dresses

Red and white checked summer dresses

White shirts or blouses (which must be kept tucked inside)

White polo shirts* (for Nursery to Year 6)

Red polo shirts* (for Nursery and Reception children only)

Smart, black shoes (boots are not permitted)

Plain grey, white or red socks

Grey or red tights

Plain red, white, grey or black hair bands, clips or Alice bands only

PE Uniform:

White t-shirt*

Plain black shorts

Plain black jogging bottoms

Black hooded sweatshirts*

Plimsolls or training shoes (for outdoor PE). Children do not wear shoes for indoor PE unless there is a medical reason.

House T-Shirt* (children will be allocated to a 'House' when they join the school and will need to wear a house coloured t-shirt for sports day - colours available are red, blue, green or yellow)

Items of School and PE uniform marked with an asterisk (*) can be purchased either directly from the school uniform shop (located in the schools main reception) or by completing and emailing in a school uniform order form. Orders emailed in will be delivered directly to your child or if you prefer collected from the schools main reception.

If possible we would prefer all payments for uniform to be made through our cashless online system 'School Gateway'.
