Weekly Update 10^th July 2020

Dear All,

We are very much looking forward to the Leavers’ Celebration on Tuesday 21^st July. There has been a request for the children to bring their mobile phones in order to take photographs on the day. Unfortunately they will not be permitted to use their phones on the school premises but we will be taking photos to remember the event, which we will then share with you.

In our final week of term there will be no new assignments set on Google Classroom. We would, however, like the children to complete as many tasks on their ‘to do’ list as possible by the end of the week. There are some very interesting challenges and games, including an Escape Room, a geography challenge and a virtual racing game. The children also have their Habitat Hat project to complete and on Wednesday there will be a live Google Classroom fashion show, when they can share their creations with the other children. The other live lessons will be used as question and answer sessions for any queries to do with the assignments.

We are aware that some children have been having difficulty accessing the meet links this week. It is always made available both in the class header and in an announcement but sometimes the header still is not visible to a few children (for reasons we cannot work out). We are very sorry about this. If your child misses a session, they can watch the live recording when it is posted.
