Nursery Admission Arrangements:

Applecroft Nursery offers one intake per year – this being the September of the academic year when your child turns 4 years old. An academic year runs from September to the following August.

Dates of birth range for nursery admissions

If your child was born between 01/09/2020 to 31/08/2021 they can join Applecroft Nursery from Sep 2024

If your child was born between 01/09/2021 to 31/08/2022 they can join Applecroft Nursery from Sep 2025

If your child was born between 01/09/2022 to 31/08/2023 they can join Applecroft Nursery from Sep 2026

If your child was born between 01/09/2023 to 31/08/2024 they can join Applecroft Nursery from Sep 2027

If your child was born between 01/09/2024 to 31/08/2025 they can join Applecroft Nursery from Sep 2028

If your child was born between 01/09/2025 to 31/08/2026 they can join Applecroft Nursery from Sep 2029

We can currently admit a maximum of 60 part-time children on a term time only, Monday to Friday basis.

The 60 part time places available are either allocated as:

• part-time 15-hour places (mornings or afternoons)
• or full-time 30-hour places

Part time 15 hour places are funded either from 15 hours of free early education funding or as part of the 30 hours free childcare entitlement for those parents/carers who meet eligibility requirements.

The majority of our full time places are allocated to those parents/carers eligible for 30 hours free childcare. However, if we have not allocated all our full-time places we are able to offer parents/carers the opportunity to fund an additional 15 hours.

In addition to the options above we also offer, to those taking up a part-time place, an opportunity to attend lunch club sessions running from 11.30am to 12.30pm.

Please note that we do not offer split provision of the 15 hours of free early education.
