United Knights Chess Club is led by DBS Accredited and Qualified Chess in Schools Coach.

As well as learning tactics, strategies and playing chess, children will develop their competitive spirit and build their confidence.  The children will be given exercises which consists of lessons and chess puzzles at different levels. Children work at their own pace and will experience different ways of playing chess.  There are certificates given for recognition.

We hold every term a Chess Tournament where the top team chess players  will receive an engraved Trophy and / or Medal.  

Whilst learning and playing chess, these brain building benefits stay and support children long after the chess boards have been put away.
