Sports Coach - Spring Term 2022

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for having premier education in to cover PPA at Applecroft over this last term.

I would like to say how much I have enjoyed teaching all of the classes. They have all been amazing with me coming in and teaching, behaviour has been outstanding from nursery all the way up to year 6. Alongside the ability of all the classes when it comes to PE. I would also like to thank the staff at the school for their assistance and making me feel welcome the day I was covering, which really helped me find my way to the classrooms and get to know the children I was teaching. Once again thank you for the opportunity to teach at this wonderful school, hope to speak in the future.

History Drama Workshop (Year 2) - November 2021

How did you find communications with the school in the lead-up to your visit?

Absolutely fantastic! Sadie was really friendly, and gave me all the information that I needed to ensure the workshops hit the right mark.

Were you made to feel welcome during your visit?

Definitely. All teachers were friendly, they promptly showed me where I needed to go, where the staff room was and where the toilets were, should I need them. On the occasion where I got a bit lost, a friendly face showed me where I needed to be.

How did you find the behaviour and attitude of the children?

It was so lovely to see the children get stuck in! Usually, on non-school uniform days, children can get a bit rowdy - however, the children were respectful and ready to learn.

Did you feel the children were engaged and responsive?

All children were engaged throughout and happy to get involved. It was brilliant to see how much knowledge they had on the subject already and they were more than happy to tell me information they knew that hadn’t been mentioned.
