Strategic Priorities

Strategic Priorities:

The trustees and senior leadership team (SLT) have a three-year strategic vision and priorities for the school. Our September 2024 - August 2028 strategic priorities are:

To deliver outstanding teaching and learning across the school, with a well-established, inspiring and balanced curriculum and impactful curriculum leaders who drive high outcomes for all our pupils, with a sharp focus on those children who are experiencing disadvantage

For our staff and pupils to be resilient, proactive and ambitious, operating in a nurturing environment where they feel safe and fully supported to develop their full potential

For all pupils to be positive members of their communities and achieve at least expected standard by the end of KS2 having made expected progress or better, resulting in school attainment figures that are above both county and national levels

To ensure the most efficient use of our resources, maximising income generation opportunities and carefully managing our facilities in order to enhance learning, maintain a safe and sustainable environment and strengthen our financial position

To maximise opportunities for all members of the Applecroft Family through effective community engagement, listening to our pupils, staff, parents, carers and the wider community

School Improvement Plan (SIP):

The Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team create a whole school improvement plan (SIP) each year designed to achieve the strategic priorities (listed above).  This plan is shared with staff and reviewed with trustees and staff throughout the year.
